But, the THC could almost work as-is. since it maintains a constant
height and an EDM requires a constant height or spark gap the two are
very similar.

Personally, I think that Mariss could modify a stepper driver to be
the power supply for an EDM. he already has the feedback and the
ability to control the current. It would be neat to have a $100
pulsing logic board for an EDM.
