New centroid servo and rutex driver!

My new centroid 29 in-lb servo motor bought from ajaxcnc.com and
990h rutex driver are here! Now comes the hard part of figuring out
how to hook it up. I'm a little confused because I've mever worked
with servos before. The motor has one nine pin male flat plug, and
one three pin. Am I right in thinking the nine pin is the encoder
and would hook to the nine pin d-connector on the driver? Rutex has
a diagram for wiring the d connector, but how do I tell which wire
is which coming from the encoder? Also it looks like the encoder
should have only six wires, not nine. The three pin plug from the
motor has much heavier wires like a power plug. There is a six pin
connector on the driver board that needs to be wired to a custom
cable for test purposes, but I'm not sure if its used after the
setup is done. There are also two other two pin terminals on the
board that I'm unsure what to do with. I can't seem to find any
documentation on the motor, I thought some should come with it. I'm
going to make the test cable, and run the setup software. It
doesn't require the motor to be wired in for the first part, so I
think I can get that far.
Thanks
