Panel control for CNC machine

Hi,
i want making cheap CNC panel with VGA display and other nice things
including a optional embedded linux controller.
It´s possible to create one or eventually more interface
specification, including eventually the interface to digital calipers.
I have thinked using a 10-12" vga display.
I´m willing of making some of this panels and sell it for 100$ (usb or
ps2) or 250$ with embedded linux controller and a EMC installation.
Further i want make a small manual panel with a jog and a small cellular
display.
