Making your own rails

Hi All,
I bring this here because this board is where I see the most
action on an attempt to do something a bit different.
On on the MechMate CNC board I see a guy made a short
section of "Vee" rail. He used a cut-off wheel on a table
saw. My posts are toward the end under "John_H".

There's also a guy who made his own "Vee" bearings

I think a grinder-jig arrangement may work to made sections
maybe a long a a few feet.
I ask your Opinions...Worth the trouble??
