Hi Alan
There is an input available in Cncpro "nonlatching feed hold" IIRC that does what you want.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] controler inputs
Hi to the lists,
Pardon the multiple list posting.
I'm using a version of my controller software for a really
unconventional use. I'm generating timing waveforms to test a product
we have in development.
I'm searching my brain, and I can't recall an input that causes a pause
in the execution of the part program. G31 can stop upon a probe
closure, but I was looking for something a little simpler. And I want
motion to continue after the switch is released. Anyone know of a
function that works that way? I can write it into my program.
And by the way, CNCpro, a program that many use is now in the public
domain, and the source code is available. See the CNCpro list on yahoo.
Thanks!
