Graham, Tim, and everyone else with a Proxxon.
I was wondering if you two could give your opinions of the Proxxon mills?
Specifically, would you recommend them for CNC adaptation by people with
little to no machining experience?
I'm actually interested in using them as 3D printers, mounting a lightweight,
25 cm long plastic extruder head on them. One of these:

I've got a Taig, which seems as though it will work, but I need to know if I
can recommend the Proxxon machines, which are cheaper. Our technical
requirements aren't very severe; we want .1 MM (40 mil) positioning accuracy,
and it needs to be able to move the extruder head up and down.
Mostly I want to know how your Proxxons are performing, and whether or not you
guys like them.
