Graham,

Would it work as-is if you had more gantry travel?

How much travel do you suppose is necessary to accomodate ALL the
pre-print dancing?
And how much is required of the start-up routine?
Do these both use the same "space" in the travel?
(Or are they occurring at different points in the overall travel;
i.e., is one travel a subset of the other, or are they intersecting,
with the pre-print being the larger?) If this is th ecase, does the
pre-print extend beyond the startup distance in BOTH directions? Or
only one?

What is the paper sensor in the print head looking for? Is it
a "safety" switch? Or used in overall registration?

Thank you in advance, Don't give up!
