BP Series 1, stock Sigma steppers, Gecko 201s, running 72vdc to each
201
material mild steel .500" thick, feedrate 10, 900rpm spindle speed
with coolant...profile program created on BobCAD , machine controller
Turbocnc....
1st picture:
part on far left came out "okay", yet at the 6 o'clock postion it is
rougher than the rest of the part
middle part you can see at the 6o'clock postion something funny going
on
right hand part has ugly gouge at the 6 o'clock postion
http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p16/Mueller_Family/problem01.jpg
now the other side is "really" ugly !!!
PARTS REVERSED, left to right
right part "okay"
middle part you can see where the radius is too small at the top and
near the middle....bottom portion more or less correct..it is almost
as if the ballscrews had different amounts of slop.
left hand part at the 6 o'clock position part is gouged really bad
again...

I was able to make 3 good brackets and then all of sudden this started
to happen.
I posted a few days ago about problems with my "Z", once I installed a
fan, no more heat problems....
no backlash comp for turbocnc, I have a few thou backlash on Y and
about .005" on X
thanks...
