I have a motion group controller retro fit on a knee mill. I am
trying to cut a pocket in aluminum and for each pass in in depth It
move all the way up to the Z start height. at the slow plunge feed
rahter than rapid up then plunge down. it is about an 1.5" in depth
for example by the time it gets to say 7/8" in depth the cutter moves
up to .100 above 7/8" then all the way back down (at the slow plunge
feed) to the next cut depth. It was supposed to just move up .100
then rapid to the start p[oint then feed down to .125" and resume
cutting? I created the program with Millwrite 2000 and am driving the
machine with maxnc version 10 on the motion group[ controller. the
file is below.
