Howdy Keith;

If it isn't necessary to actually see the signal, a cheap RF Power/SWR Meter
from Ratshack might do the trick. A short length of coax with a bit of
exposed center conductor at the end could be used as a probe. A Grid-Dip
Meter would do as much, but you'd need to know the approximate resonant
frequency of the noise, and they're expensive. The RF Meter is wide banded,
and cheap.
