All this info is great. I've read it carefully.

So what is the reason for these endmills which can't plunge? I assume they've got a strong benefit in another area? Are non-plungers commonly used or just a real special-case scenario? If a person were using one of these endmills, do we need a pilot hole for all pockets and such?

Are only endmills non-plungers, or do we get that with ball mills too?
