Hi Bill, thanks for your post, I agree wholeheartedly on the sentiments.

I can understand the ignorance of "newbies" who don't know any better,
but unfortunately, the worst offenders are regular posters who should
know better.

I feel particularly sorry for those who take the digest, how many times
do they get the addendum, plus the other overquotes!!

It's particularly galling for those users who pay for bandwidth, and
have to suffer just because of the indolence of the majority of this
groups members..
