The books you are looking for are a four volume set called Ingenious
Mechanisms for designers and inventors published by Industrial press.
Book 1 by Jones ISBN 0-8311-1029-5
Book 2 by Jones ISBN 0-8311-1030-9
Book 3 by Horton ISBN 0-8311-1031-7
Book 4 by Newell & Horton ISBN 0-83311-1032-5
Book search at www.abebooks.com lists 70 references to these searching
under Ingenious Mechanisms.
Some single books some all 4 books.
A word of warning , these have been re-printed and are freely available in
the UK from J&L and HPC Gears and other sources. Try J&L and MSC in the US
first as some of the hits on Abebooks are a higher price than a new copy.
All 4 volumes are stand alone and cover levers cams gears etc. They just
build up on the knowledge.
As a price guide J&L had them on offer last month for 70 UKP, about $105
