Hi,
Sometime ago, either on this group or the Sherline one, there was a
few mentions of the Parker Controls CD20 - CD40 stepper drivers fitted
to the Harrison/Denford type CNC lathes.
I keep reading how hot these drives made the stepper motors and, as my
X axis (CD20) stepper looses the odd step and runs very cool, I was
wondering if anyone knows which bit (pre-set) to twiddle to up the
power/current and how to measure it so as not to jack it up too high.
The Z axis also only runs warm, certainly not hot.
Regards, Terry
