where to get 2.5K resistors?

Thanks to all who answered my query!  I dug out my electronic books to refresh my memory on resistors in DC circuits as a result.  To be honest I'm more of a modelmaker than an electronics person.
 
I ended up with 1K +1.5K which was availavle at RS store and should work fine.
 
I am amazed that there aren't pots included with the controller..
