Hi Bill - it's showing on all new posts to this group, even those in
answer to other posts without it. I'm no expert, but the headers from
this group don't look "right" - they contain all sorts of lines that are
not in previous messages.

But as a first check, the header tags may be screwed

How to

"From the list on the left, click Management. This link only appears if
you’re the owner of the group or a moderator with the appropriate
privileges.
Under "Group Settings", click Messages.
Click Edit next to "Subject Tag and Footer".
Edit or remove the text in the "Subject Tag" field.
Click Save Changes."
