The choice between fine thraed and standart Screws first depends on the material to be threaded into.
Fine thread is used on harder Metals where stripping out is less likely.
Also the purpose, is this a application that will be screwed in and out repeadedly durring its lifetime then a standard thread will hold up better.
For a Motor Mount in Aluminum the finethread will not last very long, the standard screw would be the better choice.
If the threads stripp out you could just simply install Keenserts on all
threads and have a lasting steel thread to work with.
