Good to see you are still around.
Do you still have that Bridgeport Series II? Been making any chips?
Bridgette, my series II has been collecting dust. Had an issue with erratic performance on the X axis and I finally changed the servo motor. Problem solved. Once I had the old motor out I played some more and found the real cause. Motor was fine. But enough dust from the brushes had accumulated on the commutator that the brushes were not making proper contact. Cleaned it up and blew out the dust and that motor is fine. So now I have another spare <g>.
The little bit of machining I get to do now is pretty much all prototyping and development of new items for A2Z CNC and is all done on the Haas machines. Been working on an 18" travel table for the Taig mills and some more sizes of our self adjusting mill clamps.
