It may be worth the cost of shipping because computers tend to be expensive
in Malaysia. The problem is getting them past Malaysian customs. We
completely gave up sending things to family there because it just
dissapears. On one trip from Singapore to Malaysia the customs officer
confiscated my wife's steam iron (new, of course). We wanted to send a
computer to a nephew but were warned against it.

Peter, find out what can be sent through UPS before you arrange for
shipments.
