Use of LSB-1 for CAM w. Win XP Op.Sys.

I had built several PC-controlled machines via LPT-1, the PC's having
Win.95 and Win.98. Then a new one with Win.XP would NOT control the machine.
I learned that the -XP Op.Sys. precludes DOS-control of LPT-1
Can anyone tell me how to make the PC control its LPT-1 via DOS/GWBASIC
as was possible with Win.98? Thank you in advance! Jan Rowland
