These are great for instrument dials and very light loads that have
large misalignments or where one shaft moves on an angle with
respect to the other. They are made by CNC machining an aluminum
mandrel, copper plating it, then etching away all the aluminum, and
plating both sides of the copper foil with nickel. We used them
for bellows on a container of liquid neutron detector material.
