I concur. I had a Sherline with the same motors running on a 24v power
supply and it had plenty of power for the Sherline. Could have had more if I
had spent more on the drivers, but even at 24v you have enough torque to
break the machine in a bad crash. (We avoid bad crashes by being careful.) I
don't think you'll be disappointed.
