recycling computers

I started to clean up a pile of computers that I've been acquiring for last dozen years. It occurred to me that I should pay attention to what I had. I was going to try to salvage the motherboards and power supplies, crush the steel cases, etc. However, the packrat in me is having real trouble. Some of these old cases are really well built. Some of the RF/EMI shielding material looks like I should separate it, etc. AND some folks are selling 386 mbrds for $1-300!! <http://abcresellers.com/store/page62.html> Although ebay prices seem much more realistic. I saved these from the landfill over the last dozen years, and would really like to help change our "throw away" habits and raise a few $$ for our science/tech club at the same time, but I'm tempted to minimize work now...any thoughts? Anyone need a beefy AT case, 3/486 motherboard, AT or ATX pwr supply?
