You really need to try the sine-wave cut! You could also do script
around a ring, and something that I think would look terrific, old
Celtic runes (sp?)! The CNC approach is much simpler. I prefer the 'C'
language, but one could write a G-code generation program for a
sine-wave even in BASIC! At low resolutions, a SIMPLE rotary table
driven by a stepper motor, and another axis, say the X, and you'd have
it! The Z axis could be done manually to lower and raise the 1mm end
mill. Several of your current patterns could be programmed also!
