So far I have not seen anything done in a hobby package, only us old dogs that are using high end stuff.
I can tell you from experience that we could turn this into something so complex we all just walk away. What got accomplished then? I for one have no desire to draw parts that you or others want, but am more than willing to share my experience and help you or anyone to get started on the path to learning to fish for yourself. So start small and if you and other can do something with it, then move on. By starting with an easy part even I found the time to participate. If it was a complex part we would be haranging the idea for months over what it should even be. Other than lots of yak, nothing is accomplished.
So my suggestions is join in if you want or start a new post of what project you want other to join and see if you can get some to follow with you. List is open to go in whatever direction that members want to follow within the bounds that it is something relevant to building and using a CNC machine. Getting a part drawin and converted to G code is sure relevant. So start your thread and let's see where you get to. I for one would love to see some other promoting some new discussion on this list that others find useful.
