I currently am working on a low cost alternative for the CNC ready Sherline/ taigs. I have some parts on order and hope to have a turnkey system by the end of January. It would use mach3. It would be a turnkey system. Complete with motors, encoder, power supply, cooling fan , case, cables. It would include the 5oo line demo version of mach3. Estimated price is $799. But don't hold me too it. I have to machine the case and other parts. It all depends on how much work I have to do to assemble everything. I will have to evaluate the robostness of the servo amps. When I get it done , I'll ship it to you for evaluation.
