cable for printer port

Hi group I am now just hooking up EMC and I am making up the 2 pin printer hook up what type of wiring is used I have a few types here from older projects
One is a 16 wire cable shielded all it said on the out side is helukable super Paar tronic C Pur c tried the web site and I could not find any info on it I was going to use this and a extra 6 wire to make it up I think it shold be ok but I am asking to make sure
