for the connectors at both ends.

Hi all,
would anyone know where to get flat white ribbon cable used to convey electric signal through moving joints in a milling machine. I have an old HP plotter, model 7580B and a Ttech 5000 circuit board router, and they both use a flat white thin (.010" thick) multiconductor ribbon, to link across the joints. It's semi transparent cable, you can shine a flashlight through it. It must have at least 1.5 amp capacity each conductor, because it runs a stepper on the Ttech. Doesn't appear to be an etched flexible printed circuit. It looks as if the conductors are flat and sandwiched between two thin pieces of plastic.

The marking on the side of the cable reads:

MICRO CABLE A PRODUCT OF PARFLEX CORPORATION METHUEN MASS

The cable is terminated at both ends in a 1/16" thick printed circuit board, which then plugs into an edge connector. It looks like the tereminations are tricky to make up. This cable is extremely flexible, and probably not running even close to it's minimum bend radius in both of these applications.
Perhaps someone would Know where to source it and how to terminate the ends. Thanks, Denis
