Hi,
I just converted my bp clone and put dmm technology high torque servos on xyz. Completely satisfied with their product. My knee is still manual.
They're bigger servos than what your looking at with 14 bit (16k 'step' magnetic encoders). So that much of a reduction wouldn't be necessary.
