We have tried the MACH3 wizards and have the bolt pattern as a set of
drilled holes, but not the center hole or the perimeter. And we don't seem
to be able to do the holes as "pockets" with a small mill, which is our
current goal. Seems to me we got stuck in the "hole is too small for the
tool issue" a few months ago when we last tried the pocket thing. I've
uploaded a picture of the washer - and BTW - I think I got the backlash
issue resolved that is shown in the other picture in the album.

And thanks, you others who have recommended some free stuff for us to try.
I think we tried CAMBAM and had some issues with it, but will try again.
I get that there are a lot of MACH3 users on this forum, and I'd be
interested to know what they use as CAM.that is, what sits between your CAD
and your CNC machine?
Thanks, C
