What control software are you using? The software you mention is design
software, it has no ability to run motors. For motor movement you need
control software, Mach3 and EMC being the most commonly used.

For Mach3 there is a fine intor guide on teh net that details step by
step how to step up and tune a machine. as they say RTFM, where FM means
Fine Manual.
