One word of caution here. Nine volt batteries hooked in series will explode
if you overload them or short them out. The explosive energy is more than
you might think. My lab is just across the parking lot from the dumpster
where reject cells are collected for recycle. On a warm day it sounds like
small arms fire on a battlefield.
