Jon, et, all,
I was just looking into Numeric Keypads, and got one from Fry's for
$20. I need it to add to a "limited kbd" hand held computers that I
have with LCD. In the past I have written (for DOS) an INT 9 (interrupt
9) keyboard handler routine to re-assign keys, namely swap the CTRL and
Caps Lock keys. SO, if EMS running on a IBM-PC platform (Red Hat) can
tolerate a similar "patch", then could this 20 or so key pad (Numeric)
be mounted vertical and work as a replacement/augmentation? Just an
idea, not thought out for anything else but my own need.. YET.
