bob i am trying to make a  Philbrook & Paine raised pillar reel style type reel.i want to be able learn cad to this some one to do this for me will not help i want to know where to start
   the Tutorials in viacad are  writen in such a way that the authors aussme you know what they are talking abknow what thy are talking about

Back in the 90's I was a designer and builder of custom Fly fishing reels. There is no right answer to your questions without knowing more about your specifications (weight, material, size, etc)

I still have many designs on the books that I never built. Someday maybe I will.
