I didn't find the Laser on his web site but on eBay and an exchange of email divulged that it was Keling.    On another forum I learned that this paticular laser probably won't suit my needs due to the large laser kurf being roughly double that of the lasers that have cut my parts in the past, mechanical issues and software issues.   Disappointing but better to learn before spending $800.
 
I am now considering building a laser based on some Thomson Super Slides I have.   The goal is to be able to cut 6"X24" area or larger in order to accomodate standard basswood sheets.   The cost of the laser componants and controller will be expensive compared to the Keling machine but might be a bit better in the long run.

Keling is excellent to buy from. I have bought many motors and drivers
from them- most recently the 12 units for the CNC workshop were
purchased from them. Everything promised arrived exactly as ordered, I
have never had a failure of any of his products.

I didnt know he was selling a laser, I will likely buy one.
