Yes the lathe I have for sale, is an EMCO Compact 5 PC, This as was said
previously bo others, was a nice, but limited by software a school training
lathe, this one is in IMHO very good shape, and I think with a bit of
effort, someone will have a very nice ball screw, servo driven lathe. Also the
original electronics was not very powerful nor were the small steppers that
came with it.


The swapping of names, came from me in fact owning at one time, an ENCO
FB-2 Mill, that I have disposed of. With the dizziness, and the FB-2, I
almost grabbed a spinning mill when I started to fall, about 2 1/2 inches to
spare, shut everything off that night.
Sometimes you have to accept the first warning in the shop. I had already
fallen several times previously, but not in the shop.
