New members posts are automatically moderated meaning a human (one of us) has to open and read the posts make sure they are not spam and okay them. Sometimes that takes a while to happen. It does not help that the whole moderator interface has changed and it is now more time consuming to go though the process. Once you have several posts (at least it used to work this way) you are automatically off moderated status.

I've already answered Bill directly and tried to
answer on list. I am getting messages but my posts
and replies are at least very slow. My first two
failures now show on the web site (I can only get
the 3 most recent messages so all the replies to
Bill's question that showed up in my email haven't
made it to the web site yet. So far I haven't seen
anything more recent of mine so this is one more
test.

FWIW I am on a bunch of lists that are working, at
least to some degree. Judging from my other lists
and my non-list emailings, I think this is mostly
a failure at Yahoo.
