Failed Power Supply

This is a photo of one of the 48V 7.3A supplies imported by Keling. I was
driving a 6A Size 34 motor with it through a Gecko. Clearly it wasn't up
to the task as you can see from the black coil that should be golden brown
and the brown on the undersize of the cover. I think a linear supply will
be the replacement. Or an oversized switcher with a big capacitor by the
Gecko.

Anyone else had problems with these supplies?
