Unfortunately, I believe You are mistaken.
Mach3 is definitely realtime.

It runs on ring 0, and actually allows windows to only run sometimes,
but Mach3 is in total control of the system.

This changed with 64 bits, and now mach4, as the new windows versions
wont work under the same scheme.
