You are obviously doing your homework.

I have a Supermax YCM40. Sources tell me that essentially all knee mills
from Taiwan are built by Yeong Chin. The CNC Vectrax (MSC) is identical to
my machine as far as I can tell. If yours is a YC-1 you might con someone
at MSC into selling you the ballscrew assemblies you need. Just a thought.
