CAM to EMC

Tim,
I finally got a little time to fool with the latest EMC release (june 16).
The verify feature is real cool. Since you and I are both running VECTOR
for CAM output, I wanted to mention what I have found with it. Initally, I
ran into some of the same problems that you did, with the errors due to
being off a tiny bit on radius' "error: beginning of radius doesn't match
end of radius by half a nanometer". That was pretty frustrating, so I
set up VECTOR to output to 5 places past the decimal and it seemed to fix
the problem. I am still using I and J format for radius'. In fact, I
couldn't seem to generate R format. I hadn't done that before and couldn't
seem to get it to work, even with the I and J box unchecked and the R box
checked in the menu list.
Have you hooked up your home switches yet?
I am about to move the setup to a bigger machine (maybe temporarily) and
want to run the home switches on it to. I still have the notes from last
time we discussed home switches, but wondered how they were working for you.
Thanks,
Dan
