Mat,

Thanks for the tutorial. Now I know that freqmod was a *SOFTWARE*
module. I was thinking there was some hardware "module" out there
already that worked a little like FlashCut's Signal Generator. Guess
we'll have to wait for Jon.

By "using PCI" I was thinking about boards like SIIG's "Cyber 2SIP
Plus", and more like how to talk to it (addresses seem to be high up
now), since I can't plug my old ISA parallel port boards in anymore!
Yes, I've got a laptop/notebook computer, I'm using the parallel port
*WITH* a "buffer" box to protect my IBM 310 ThinkPad! Wish I could find
a few more.

So sounds like FPGA is the way to go! That's got to beat out my idea of
multiple CY-545's! Guess I'll go back to listening mode, and wait for
hardware! ;>)
