All of the imported asian machines suffer from poor quality. On my mill
drill the leadscrew pitch varied .001 per inch. In 10 inches it was off
.010. Next was the backlash. Each axis had about .020 backlash. My table had
a bind in it. I had to remove the table and lap in the table to remove the
tight spot. I replaced the leadscrews with ballscrews and came up with a way
to fix the Z axis. Now it is pretty good.
If you can't afford a full size mill and you are handy you can retofit your
machine and turn that piece of junk into a half was decent machine.
