The Rosenberg "Electric Motor Repair" is a classic. I've got an old copy
around here somewhere. It's rather out of date, though, and it's bound
weird and expensive.
I'm an old, gray haired, more or less retired, industrial electrical
contractor/engineer. I'm sure I've worked with thousands of odd-ball
motors, and I still see strange ones that I've never seen before. I
don't think a fully comprehensive motor book exists, and if it did, it
would be to big to carry. Sorry.
