Not the book you named but there is an excellent motor book, named:
Electric Motor Repair, by Robert Rosenberg. Holt, Rinehart and Winston , Inc.
ISBN 0-03-079090-5. Copywrite dates from 1946 to 1970, the later being the
second edition. I have had my copy since the seventies and have found it to
be very valuable on the pre stepper, servo, brushless motor designs.
It will not contain anything about the newer motors, but contains extremely
practical information about everything old, including things that have been
obsolete for many many years. I would suggest interlibrary loan before its
purchase, if you are interested in the new stuff.
It is really two books in one ring bound, left book is the wiring, and
winding information, right book is the text and study guide, common cover,
between the two books.
