It is very sad that the lead-screws on milling-machines (made here, and
Taiwanese knock-offs of same) have 0.200 inch pitch! I am building two more
small "CNC" lathes for an application-specific purpose, and this time, using
4 mm pitch screws; but guess what! The mounting-threads on the Turcite-nut
O.D. is INCH! Laff! At least these screws are 20 mm dia., and not 3/4" !!!!
I heard ONE Congressman say, "Metric just ain't 'Merikun!" Yep! We
RE-elected Hillary's husband, didn't we??? Duh... (not me! A Bush in the
hand is better than...??? How does that go?)
