Radio Shack sells a 25 pin serial port jumper box (I know it's not a serial port)
that works real good for trying out different drives or software that have different
I/O pin configurations. Solder the little wires to go from one configuration to the
other and plug it inline with the cable. It's got two 25 pin d-sub connectors on it,
one male and one female. Cost is about 4 or 5 bucks.
