You probably did need more release agent, but also be aware that Moglice
will replicate even the smallest surface features. That screw probably
looks real nice to the naked eye. Look at it with a microscope, and it's
a different story! Moglice will replicate all those little pits
micro-burrs. I've cast nuts on three occasions now and the last time I
was sure I would have too much clearance, but didn't want to have to lap
the nuts in again (a tedius process at best). Had to lap them anyway.
You can overdo it if you try, but don't be shy about applying the
release agent.
Also, to get a better purchase in the housing, reach in with a dremel
and grind some dimples for the Moglice to lock into.
