I have the Australian SC mag Bill. Runs to 7 pages very comprehensive.
The pc board is about 1/3rd page size, and there is a nice front
panel artwork. Runs off 9v battery so no mains problems.
Usually the local parts places would make up a kit for something like
this or I could get you the board.

By the way there is no "PIC" in it. There are about 12 standard off
the shelf ICs, 4013, 4011, 7555, 4069.....
