If you decide to use Timken tapered roller bearings anywhere...be it for CNC or other wise...try to get ahold of their catalogs. They are extensive and there is a wealth of engineering info. in them...for both tapered roller bearing and lots of other bearing styles.

I've found I can't hold the tolereances specified by the MFG. So
I just get as close as I can and put it together. Maybe when I
get my CNC up and running.... :-)
